Biography
Maria Lena Koen, Director
Maria Lena Koen is a Swiss-Dutch artist and director based in Lucerne. After studies in the hotel sector, she decided to focus on film. In 2021, she graduates from the University of Lucerne – Design & Art (HSLU) with a BA in film. She grew up in the Centovalli valleys and on the Dutch seas, where she got to know a different way of life. This connection with nature has contributed to develop a sensitivity that she uses to get in touch with people and better understand their relationship with society. Maria Lena works on different projects in the fields of film and photography.
