Biography
Anna Joos, Director
Anna Joos is a Swiss and Swedish filmmaker and visual anthropologist who combines social theory and cinema. Currently studying for a Master’s degree in Cinema at ÉCAL/HEAD, specializing in directing, she has completed a Master’s degree in Visual Anthropology at the Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology of the University of Manchester in 2019. She then pursued a Master’s degree in Cinema at ECAL/HEAD, graduating in 2024 with her short film NIEDERURNEN, GL, which was presented in competition at Visions du Réel 25.
